The hotel has extremely spacious and compact rooms with a jacuzzi bath and great views. The staff is affable and excellent, as well as the host. The location is amazing, just 4 km from a 1174m high mountain. The venue is a short walk to beautiful nature and lovely views. The restaurant serves appetising homemade food.

Booked this for our trip and it met requirements. The hotel was an excellent home base for enjoying a domestic area, close enough to glorious nature. Central location was a plus. Also, an 1174m high mountain was 3 km away.
Nothing, all excellent!

Recently stayed at a lovely cottage in Crianlarich for a week. The owners were friendly and helpful, providing tea, coffee, and milk upon arrival. The cottage was spacious, clean, and had a well-equipped kitchen and three beautiful bathrooms. The highlight was the stunning scenery and view of the loch right outside our door. Would definitely return for another stay.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

During my recent stay at a charming cottage in Scotland, I had the most wonderful experience at Portnellan. The breathtaking natural beauty, with majestic mountains and tranquil lochs, created a magical atmosphere that I will treasure forever.
Although there were a few minor niggles, such as loose bars on some chairs and a mattress that was too soft for my preference, these did not detract from the overall experience. The property was clean and spacious, comfortably accommodating my party of seven.
